Every 240 volt hot tub installation needs a Spa GFCI Disconnect Panel.  Ours is designed for easy installation by the qualified do-it-yourselfer or electrician and provides GFCI protection for hot tubs requiring 3 or 4 wire feeds. For spa loads up to 60 amps (or less)! Includes bonus 120V branch circuit with breaker.

While other brands are not specifically designed for spas, the Connecticut Electric Load Center is far superior, featuring an interference-shielded 60A GFCI breaker which is tolerant of voltage fluctuations for maximum safety and equipment protection.

Specifically engineered for home portable spas:
Don't waste your money on an inferior disconnect panel without advanced technology to prevent errant GFCI tripping.

Why this is a better choice for hot tubs:

Unfortunately, conventional load centers often perform unreliably with hot tubs due to the phenomenon called errant tripping. This false tripping is a great frustration to homeowners and electricians alike, often incorrectly attributed to a problem with the spa, when no problem exists.

Because of the reactive loads that spa motors present and the fact that parts of the spa including ozonators may run on 120V, common GFCI breakers sometimes react to a normal spa condition as if it were a ground fault. They can be very unreliable.

Our GFCI Disconnect panel solves these problems. It's a dependable ground fault detector designed just for hot tubs. The specially-shielded GFCI prevents false tripping due to RF interference. It is also engineered for low-voltage stability to prevent tripping due to brownouts. If there is a ground fault, the fast-acting GFCI instantly disconnects the lines.

Some jurisdictions REQUIRE the installation of a 120V outdoor GFCI outlet, located 10-20 feet away, enabling safe use of cord-connected appliances and equipment in the spa area.

Note: The bonus 120V branch circuit has its own 15A breaker, saving the expense of a separate wiring run for an outdoor outlet. This alone pays for itself! Instructions included

Meets National Electrical Code Requirements

NEC code specifies a manual disconnect device at least  5 feet away and within line of sight. Our high quality disconnect panel meets all requirements. Features an enameled rain-tight enclosure, a heavy-duty fast acting GFCI, and a 15-amp branch circuit. Box has knockouts on four sides for hookup versatility.

Included 120V branch circuit for outdoor receptacle, landscape lighting, etc. No need for an expensive additional wiring run to the main panel. Don't buy a load center without this feature!

Two Years with no False Faults
I was having GFI interrupt faults in my house that I eventually traced to my old Hot Tub GFCI breaker. I changed to the Connecticut Electric and the problems completely stopped! I just purchased a Hot Tub at my new house and I am buying another Connecticut Electric GFCI Load Center.

Fantastic GFCI Load Center
I've wired, Installed, and worked on hundreds of Panels/Load Centers over the years, but this one is one of the best built and best designed Load Centers (For a Spa or Hot Tub), that I've seen in my 35+ years of doing Electrical Installations. Everything about it is quality and well thought out, even down to leaving the Installer room to bend the many large conductors and land them easily inside the enclosure where they terminate, (Which a lot of Engineers overlook in their designs), but is very important to Electricians in the field. AAA+++ Grade on this one.
