Resource Conservation

Our employees and management realize the importance of environmental stewardship, and our responsibility to give something back to the community. The Internet has brought us all closer together, so we're working to be good neighbors.

We were committed to waste reduction and conservation long before the term "carbon footprint" was coined. Nearly 100% of our cardboard products and shipping pallets are either recycled or reused. As we approach our goal of a paperless office, we've cut consumption drastically. Most remaining paper is recycled. This helps in a small way to conserve our forests. We've also implemented a metal recycling program, the proceeds of which are donated. Energy efficiency in our workplace has always been a prime focus. In fact, our new distribution facility features state-of-the-art energy conservation technology including LED lighting, which has drastically reduced energy consumption.

We primarily use recyclable sealed air bag cushions in our shipping cartons, which are superior for protecting supplies in transit. Customers report that they prefer them to the mess and disposal problems associated with foam packing peanuts or other materials. If you cannot reuse the air bags, just puncture. They deflate to almost nothing for easy recycling. This effort helps our environment, and also assures that your packages arrive in good condition.

Charitable Giving

It is our honor to work with community firefighters to raise money for Operation Warm, distributing new U.S.A. made coats. These warm winter jackets are provided to elementary school children in need throughout our communities. The Spa Depot also matches all funds raised by the SpaDepot.com employees.

The Family Support Center is a nonprofit community resource center offering services and programs for children and families. We hold periodic donation drives, collecting clothing, hygienic supplies, and other items for the FSC to help families in need. 

We support Wounded Warrior Project, which enables us to help injured vets returning home, assist their families.

World Vision works to reduce the effects of the international food crisis on defenseless children, and provides education opportunities. We sponsor children in developing countries.
