Product notes: 100% pure DuPont Monopersulfate Compound (potassium peroxymonosulfate, 45.2%). Active oxygen level is 4.3 - 4.75%. Use at the rate of 1 1/2 - 2 oz. per 500 gallons of water upon startup. (2 tablespoons = approx. 1 1/2 oz.) If using an alternative sanitizer such as Nature2, follow that product's instructions for shocking. Also called Oxy Shock. Compare to Renew or any other brand-- OxySpa has the highest active oxygen level, which determines shocking effectiveness.
