My middle age Wind River spa’s control board died. The rest of the spa (cover, pumps, shell itself, ozone generator, etc) were in perfect shape. I didn’t want to cut it up and take it to the dump!
I was originally online searching for a control board replacement (for a 10+ year old hot tub, that’s an item not easily found).
I found spa depot and the “Spa pack” I purchased. I worked with their tech guy (who was AWESOME), gave them the specs of my pumps and ozonator (I sent data plate pictures from each).
They took my info, configured a Spa pack option - and told me exactly what I needed.
The spa pack replaces your control board, heater, temp sensor, flow sensors and your control board. It was entirely PLUG AND PLAY. I filled up my spa, powered it up and let it heat.
My spa runs perfectly now AND the program in the new control pack only runs the recirc pump as needed, where my old one ran continuously wasting energy.
This entire repair saved my hot tub from going to the dump for just over $600. It was easy to install myself (even with a little added plumbing I had to repair.

We have really hard water that causes mineral scaling and ruins the heating element on the spa after a year or so. I used the prefresh filter on the last fill up and total hardness was way down. I'll definitely order again. I might even try one on a car wash and see if that reduces the white spots that are left behind after the car dries.
This BP7 was a perfect replacement for the EL1000 out of my 2007 Bullfrog 451 Spa. I matched this up with a replacement control panel TP200. My original panel only had four buttons as well and it looked like a perfect fit. It really was, the only surprise was the size difference. The new panel is quite smaller, but a handy adapter plate is included. I couldn’t be more pleased with the delivery and ease of installation of this product. Definitely a Five Star review for ease of replacement parts on a spa that has been running 19 years.
