I am so mad that I didn't do this much sooner. Changing to salt and away from straight clorine has never been easier. A simple summation of the instructions. Fill your tub and balance the water. Then add your pool salt. Morton's pool salt for me. I had to use 6 lb of salt to get the right ppm in my HS Aria. (Get the AquaChek salt white strips for that) Drop in your Saltron Mini and turn it on. Initial setting on the Mini was 5 hours. Chlorine was low, so I had to bump up to 6. My water has been perfect for 2 weeks now. It feels so much softer and I don't itch at night. The big thing is that my wife is much happier with it! Couldn't be happier!
We have never been happier with our spot! Great product easy to install easy to use
Product arrived timely. Installation was easy and operation is straightforward. So far it is keeping a perfect chlorine level. I am using it with a 300Gallon inflatable hot tub on a setting of 3 hours run time. It was a little pricy but seems like a great product from SpaDepot #sweepstakes
We have a 240 gallon hot tub and couldn't seem to get the chemical balance correct using chlorine. Switched over to this and it's been great, our skin no longer breaks out and our eyes don't burn. It took a full 5 lbs of salt initially. We've been using it now for about a month and I haven't had to add more salt yet. So much easier, I was starting to regret getting the hot tub altogether but now that we switched it, we use it multiple times per week, currently as a cooling tub since it's been so hot out.
My second unit. First one was over 10 years old and did well. Even sitting in the snow.
