PreFresh Spa & Pool Water Fill Filter

I use the PreFresh Spa & Pool Water Fill Filter- MT1051 to Refill my Spa Hot tub with fresh water

I filled up my kids 1 year old pool with a drinking water hose and the water had a redish tint from iron and had a sheen on top so I dumped it. I got a new hose and this filter and the water is clear!

This not the first time I have purchased this product. It is essential for the type of water I have in central MO.
I use it every time I perform a partial or full refill.

Don't even think about it, use the filter when you fill. You won't regret it.

Absolute necessity for hot tub maintenance.

The Prefresh filler works great! What more can I say? We have well water, which is normally kinda tan colored - who wants the pool to look that color? So we use the Prefresh filler all the time. thanks SpaDepot!

Using this filter delivers perfectly balanced water every time we refill the hot tub. That’s no small thing in Colorado where the water is laden with minerals. We have been using this product for 12 years now ans wouldn’t be without it.

I did one full up on a 400 gallon hot tub and it worked fine. Went to add water and it just trickles. No cleaning or troubleshooting helps, just got one use out of it. Will buy another brand.

My filter worked good, but I used it with my Clear2O Dirtguard to block the sediment from the water. Many times people don't realize the reason the filter stops working or trickles water is because of the heavy sediment in the water. This will block any filter. Quick and easy to install. The reason I gave it four star is because the water still had a chlorine odor.

Two in a row: it gets delivered, you screw it on to your hose, the water streams with a good volume for about 30 seconds, then slows to a trickle. I called Customer Service after the first one and they said it must've been damaged in shipping. They sent me a new one, same thing. It's garbage. Luckily I saved my old one. Not buying Prefresh ever again. A complete waste of $25.

Thought this would be a good idea, but water came out in a trickle. Bad product IMO

Don't waste your time. Filter worked for about 3 mins then stopped or plugged up. Water on full blast and coming out of ""filter"" at a trickle.

I bought this a long time ago and it worked fine for a few times. I needed another one and it only seemed to work once. The second time, water only trickled out of it. I kept it inside and dried it out but nothing helped. So I ordered another one, thinking this one was just a bad one, but the same thing happened! Was only able to use it once. I will not buy it again.

would buy again. fast shipping and product worked well. Spa Depot comes through for me again when I need products.

I filled my hot tub with this, ran water thru filter before using then started to fill tub lots of black water came out. Wasn't very impressed, checked water after fill and didn't seem to have made a great difference

At every start up/opening we use this. Connects to hose, keeps metals, contaminates etc from getting into the system. Water is cleaner and clear so you use less chemicals to balance. We always use this product.

good filter works well with my baqua spa peroxide approach as a filter on the fill

If you immediately need to treat your water after filling your spot this is the product for you. The water goes in crystal clear and no treatment is immediately necessary. We have high lime scale levels in our water and this does the trick!

A year ago I had a big problem with high phosphate levels in my pool. This year when I raised the water level with this device the problem is gone! Thanks!!

Really helps start out the spa with perfect water.

Did not last as long as I would like, but good product. I filled my 300 gallon spa twice and topped off a small fish pond to the tune of about 50 gallons. By the time I had done that, there was hardly any flow. I do have a well, so it probably had to work overtime. I will order it again.

Finally found filter that works great. I mostly use it for my swim SPA but it has other uses. I live in a very hard water area.

Used once on a fill of spa approximately 300 gallons, next time I used it water dribble out of it. Rgds, Mike I would return it but it has been used.
