I first purchased this product about 12 years ago when we got a hot tub. I like that the scent is mild and I usually use 2 capfuls per tubbing session.
The new board fixed my issue. The support to install it from the Spa Depot was great. I had to contact them several times as I’m a DIYer and they had patience with me.

Easy replacement.
No real need to drain the hot tub. Just have wine cork available and remove and plug the hoses. Then install the new unit. Works well.

We will see how long it last. My original ladted 26 years on my Hotsprings hot tub.
My spa was stuck by lightning and needed to replaced. The spa was 20 years old and there was no direct replacement part available. After consulting Spa Depot support they recommended the Balboa EasyPak with a replacement key pad.
The replacement went very smoothly and the directions were very helpful.
My spa is now back in operation and the new pak has some upgraded features I really like.

Replacing the heating element is far less expensive (less than half) than purchasing a new heater unit. Element comes well packed so there little chance for damage during shipping. Since the heat elements only last about two years, I now have a second unit rebuilt and ready to swap out when the current unit fails. This will result is less down time. This new unit seems to have heated up to temperature faster than the last unit I purchased.
Item arrived Promptly. Excellent quality and is working well. The plastic handle was broken upon arrival but i was able to swap the old handle in its place.
