I wish I had found these years ago!

The socks fits over the screen and keeps pine needles and other bits of dirt out of the filter. It makes the filter last so much longer and overall cleaning much easier. I bout 2 to try and immediately bought five more. Such a bargain,especially if using a spa with a really expensive filter.
