High bather loads demand frequent testing... The higher the bather load, the faster pool and spa disinfectant levels dissipate and become ineffective. High bather load also contributes to a higher than normal likelihood of someone introducing potentially dangerous bacteria into the water. With more people in the water and sanitizer dissipating at a high rate, vulnerability to bacterial contamination is high. This is especially true if bathers urinate in the water (as even the best-behaved children often do!)
Test your spa... Heated hot tubs are the ideal location for bacteria to thrive and spread, even faster than in a pool. In a spa's limited water volume, even a small amount of bacteria can produce a large outbreak.
