Product notes: Spa users-- You should change your spa water at least every 3 to 4 months, or when TDS level exceeds about 1500 - 2000 ppm. Pool users-- This test strip can be used in place of an expensive conductivity meter, saving you hundreds of dollars. Pool water TDS is excessive when it reaches about 5000 ppm.
