Shipping Policy

SpaDepot.com offers FREE Standard Shipping to the contiguous U.S. on every order over $100.

A $3.95 flat shipping fee applies to orders under $100 to defray a small portion of the actual packaging & shipping costs.

Sales Tax:

  • No tax collected on U.S. orders (except Washington State)
  • Canadian orders are subject to 5% GST.

Alaska & Hawaii

For orders over $100 many items also ship free (surface) to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Protectorates. Priority Mail is available for most orders 20 lbs or less shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.

A surcharge applies for shipping parts & heaters to Alaska, Hawaii and locations outside the contiguous U.S.

Spas and spa covers cannot be shipped outside the USA-48 States (no freight forwarding).

Spa Covers

Hot tub covers are custom made and will normally be completed within approximately 2 1/2 weeks (not counting Saturday, Sunday or national holidays, plus shipping time).

Custom spa covers are shipped via freight curbside truck delivery. Please allow an additional 3-5 business days (not counting Saturday, Sunday, or national holidays) in transit after completion for delivery.

Spa Cover shipping available within the contiguous USA only. Air shipping and freight forwarding not available.

Note: If you are taking delivery to a residential address, the trucking company will probably be contacting you a day or two in advance to make any necessary delivery arrangements. We strongly recommend that someone be at the delivery address to sign for the package and check for damage when it arrives. If you give the trucking company permission to leave the delivery without your inspection, you will assume all liability for any damage or loss. Spa covers cannot be shipped or forwarded outside the USA-48.

Hot Tubs

Belize Spas

Belize eSeries spas are custom built-to-order in your choice of colors and shipped to you factory direct. Allow approx. 2 -4 weeks for completion, prior to shipment from the west coast.

Since Belize spas are too large for package delivery, they are shipped via freight van.  Please allow an additional 7 - 15 business days transit time after shipment (not counting Saturday, Sunday, or national holidays) for delivery in the contiguous US 48.

LifeCast Spas

LifeCast spas are custom built-to-order in your choice of colors and shipped to you factory direct. Allow approx. 3-4 weeks for completion, prior to shipment from the east coast.

Since LifeCast spas are too large for package delivery, they are shipped via freight truck.  Please allow an additional 7 - 15 business days transit time after completion (not counting Saturday, Sunday, or national holidays), for delivery in the contiguous 48 US.

SuperTub Spas

These soft spas are in stock and normally ship out within 2-5 business days from the factory warehouse in Arkansas.

Since these spas are too large for package delivery, they are shipped via freight truck.  Please allow an additional 5 - 10 business days transit time after completion (not counting Saturday, Sunday, or national holidays) for delivery in the contiguous US.

Note: Normally the freight company will contact you by phone in advance of the delivery, to let you know the expected arrival window. You will need to be on hand for the delivery and to check for damage. You may need to arrange for help in unloading the spa and moving the unit to where it will be set up in your yard or home.  In many cases this can be done by one person, since these spas are lightweight and easy to move.

Raypak & Electric Heaters

Raypak gas and electric heaters are normally shipped out within 3-4 business days from Washington state.

These items are normally shipped ground service for delivery in 2 to 6 business days transit time from date of shipment (not counting Saturday, Sunday, or national holidays).

Split Shipments

Please don't be concerned if your entire order is not delivered together.

Your merchandise may arrive in multiple cartons, and sometimes on different days. It all depends on a number of factors, so please read below before contacting us.

Most common "where's my stuff?" examples:

  • You will normally receive the chemical kit before your spa arrives from the factory.
  • You will receive supplies prior to a custom-made spa cover, which takes time to fabricate.
  • Spa parts may be shipped from a different warehouse than supplies, and arrive separately.
  • Large, bulky items are often shipped factory-direct, separately from other items.
  • Parts of your order may be shipped by different carriers such as FedEx, UPS, postal, or freight.

Package Tracking

Please allow 1-2 business days (not counting weekends or holidays) for current tracking information to be available.
Note: Sign In for Package Tracking (tracking info is not normally available by phone).

Using FedEx Delivery Manager, you can now have complete control over when the package is brought to your door.  For example, you can:

  • Request a specific delivery date and time
  • Redirect your package to another address – e.g., to a neighbor in case you won’t be home
  • Ask FedEx to hold your package at a FedEx store
  • Pre-sign for a package and authorize them to leave it at your door
  • Give specific delivery instructions – gate codes, “leave it at the back door”, etc.
  • Request a vacation hold.

Visit FedEx.com to sign up and get complete control over your delivery. Once you have signed up, you can use the Delivery Manager system to manage all your future FedEx shipments.

We offer Flat Rate Shipping & Handling for most Canadian orders:

  • $35 for orders under $100
  • $25 for orders over $100

This covers a portion of the extra shipping, processing and brokerage costs for shipping to Canada. Some restrictions may apply.

Return Policy

If you need to return an item, you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number either by using the Request Support tab above (recommended) or by calling our customer service number: 1-800-823-3638 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday Pacific Time.  Returns without RMA numbers cannot be accepted.  You are responsible for safe return shipping, so please make sure that your return is adequately packed and insured.  Read the return conditions below:

Conditions:

  • All returns require Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  • We must receive your return within 30 days of purchase.
  • Merchandise must be in original, salable condition without cosmetic or other damage.  (You would not want to buy damaged merchandise, nor would we sell it).
  • Return shipping is reimbursed for damaged or defective products only, and only with an RMA.
  • Made-to-order products, spas, spa covers, umbrellas, heaters, spa packs, circuit boards and special order items are not returnable, but are covered by the manufacturer's warranties.

  • Returns for reasons other than covered under our Performance Guarantee, and all spa repair parts and spa cover lifter returns are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee to help cover shipping, packaging & restocking costs, which we will deduct from any credit refunded.
  • Handling and shipping charges are not refundable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which shipping carriers do you use?
SpaDepot.com utilizes FedEx and USPS for small packages, UPS for some drop-shipped parts and freight carriers for larger packages (hot tubs & covers).

What do I do if my order arrives broken or damaged?
If possible, refuse delivery of the broken or damaged items. Custom items are non-returnable. Items should be inspected thoroughly at the time of delivery. If you are not satisfied with the condition, indicate "damaged" on the packing slip and refuse delivery.

How do I check my order status?

Does SpaDepot.com ship outside of the 48 contiguous United States?
Yes, we offer a limited selection of products for shipment to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. Restrictions apply.

Why do Express (Expedited) deliveries sometimes take longer than the designated time period?
Expedited shipping service is only available on products that can be shipped in accordance with FedEx and USPS shipping requirements and Federal Regulations. Products that can not be expedited are noted on the product information page.

Expedited service is not available in all areas.

What is your return policy?

How can I cancel my order?
Our order-fulfillment and shipping systems are designed to deliver orders quickly and efficiently. Customer orders are sent to our warehouse frequently throughout the day for speedy fulfillment and shipping. Therefore, it is not possible to change or cancel an order once it has been processed.

Earth Friendly Company

The Spa Depot primarily uses recyclable sealed air bag cushions and recycled cardboard padding in our shipping cartons. Air bags are not only superior for protecting supplies in transit, our customers have told us that they prefer them to the mess and disposal problems associated with foam packing peanuts.

We hope you can reuse the air bags... if not, just puncture. They deflate to almost nothing for easy disposal or recycling. This effort helps our environment in a small way, and also assures that your package will arrive in good condition.
