Vacuums Portable Spas & Above-Ground Pools
The long-reach Shake-a-Vac II is the easiest way to rid debris from the bottom of your hot tub or above-ground pool. Vacuums up: sand, grass, grit, bugs, etc. No awkward hoses to connect, bags to empty, or expensive batteries to replace!
The Vac that's also great for Draining!
Unlike ordinary spa vacs, you can also use the Shake a Vac II for draining portable spas, soft tubs and inflatable spas with its unique shake-to-start siphon.
Just insert the wand into the water and shake it up & down a few times using long, fast strokes. Presto! The siphon action starts, and the Shake-a-Vac II sucks up debris. (For maximum water flow, shake again after a few seconds). Features flexible 8 foot hi-flow discharge hose for vacuuming or draining as needed.
Hands Down: Simply the Best Design
The Shake-a-Vac's inventor claimed it to be the first water vac to start its own siphon. We were skeptical at first. Then we tried it, and were so impressed that we bought the company! We guarantee: you'll be delighted as well.
Shake-a-Vac II Saves Water & Chemicals
Don't waste your money on a cumbersome water-powered vac which must be connected to a garden hose. In use, they add up to 50 gallons of water to your spa, overfilling and diluting chemicals. Shake-a-Vac II is a more efficient vacuum design which sucks up debris, yet drains only a gallon or two during a typical cleaning.
Shake-a-Vac II also makes a great gift. Pick up an extra for a friend or neighbor at a very special price (checkbox below).
Product Notes: 36" long-reach wand with 8 ft. drain/vac discharge hose. The Shake-a-Vac II uses gravity siphon action, so your hot tub, pool or pond must be above ground level. For in-ground/below-grade applications where a siphon won't work, choose one of our other popular vacs (links below).
9/16/2014 Easy, effective Love this thing. My small spa's drain is really slow, and this thing is 5 times as fast. Best thing I've found for sucking up a little grit at the bottom, or speeding up my full draining, or to circulate in some fresh from the hose, without worrying about overflow. No motors, no attaching to hose... let gravity do the work. My only issue is it's a little pricey for what it is; plastic tube, plastic shake valve, rubber hose.

8/6/2014 Good Product/Worth the Cost I have a 12' above ground pool and just needed something to get out settled dirt from off the bottom. I looked at vacuums that take batteries, but the reviews were mostly negative. I found this one and it seemed almost too easy and simple to use, therefore might not work too well. BUT IT WORKS GREAT, and was half the price!! You need to go a little slow, but I had the entire pool done in less than 10 mins. The amount of water the pool looses is minimal, and I can just store it in the garage when done. It's just what I needed!!

6/30/2014 Great Product The Shake-a-Vac II works exactly as described. It easily picks up the little bits of debris that accumulate at the bottom of the spa. No more lugging out the shop vac to clean the spa. Shake-a-Vac gets the debris with minimal loss of water. It is a great product and very easy to use.
