If adding an ozonator to a spa requiring an in-line injector, you'll first need to install this injector. Our Ozone Venturi Injector is an ideal solution. The injector creates a suction which pulls ozone from the ozonator, mixes it with water, and delivers it to a jet in the spa. This quality Venturi has barbed 3/4" water connections and a 1/4" barbed fitting for ozonator supply hose.
A section of 3/4" spa flex hose or clear vinyl tubing is easily snipped out for installation of an Ozone Injector, then secured with the supplied Snap-Grip hose clamps as shown here.
Be sure to observe the water flow direction as indicated by the arrows on the Venturi. |

Our injector kit includes a built-in check valve at the air connection barb. For safety, add a second in-line check valve at the ozonator side. After installing the injector, the ozonator output line is connected to the injector suction bib fitting. To prevent water from backing-up into the ozonator, a dedicated check valve should be installed in the ozone line. The ozonator output line should be looped high in the spa cabinet (above water level). Called a Hartford Loop, it provides additional protection from water back flow.
