About our advanced Cleanwater™ Sanitizer System and your Warranty
Recent questions from our customers:

Q: Another eBay seller states that using Cleanwater sanitizer may invalidate the warranty. Is that true?
A: Absolutely not! Your factory warranty is fully protected when using the Cleanwater Sanitizer System. The Spa Depot is a factory-trained and authorized Spa2Go retailer. We are experts on this spa, its warranty, and its care... and have been selling and servicing it longer than any other retailer in the world.

Q: Can I see the manufacturer's warranty to verify this?
A: View the Comfortline Spa2Go warranty right here:  Spa2Go Manufacturer's Warranty

Q: Is the Cleanwater System safe for my spa?
A: Yes. In fact, when used as directed, no other sanitizer system is gentler to your spa's components.

Q: How can bromine or chlorine shorten the life of the vinyl spa liner?
A: The vinyl used in spa liners contains "plasticizers" which keep it supple and prevent cracking. Over time, chlorine, and to a somewhat lesser extent, bromine, oxidize away the plasticizers in vinyl. This can eventually lead to cracking and even leaks. If you have ever spilled chlorine laundry bleach on an article of clothing, you know that it can actually eat a hole in the cloth. In a spa, the same chemical reaction takes place, but over a longer time period since the chlorine concentration is lower. Chlorine and bromine are closely-related members of the same chemical family.

Q: Is bromine weaker than chlorine?
A: Yes, bromine is a weaker sanitizer than chlorine, and so does less damage to vinyl. However, the so-called "bromine sanitizer" tablets on the market today only contain a small amount of bromine (sodium bromide). They are mostly chlorine. Read the label.  (We can email you a copy of the ingredients label if you like).

Q: How is the Cleanwater System different from chlorine or bromine?
A: The advanced Cleanwater System is based on an odor-free mineral ion bactericide/algicide.  It purifies spa water without the harsh fumes of chemicals like chlorine and bromine. It cannot harm your spa liner, spa cover, or your spa's equipment, and requires much less maintenance time than either bromine or chlorine.  Using the Cleanwater System means no harsh fumes, no red eyes, and unlike bromine, it will not cause dry skin.  Plus, when you get out of the water, you won't smell like bromine! Better for your spa, better for you-- The Cleanwater System is supplied free of charge with every Spa2Go and all other vinyl-liner spas we sell.

Q: What if I still want the bromine sanitizer instead?
A: We will happily substitute a  Bromine Supplies Kit upon request. The choice is yours!
